Breaking: Staksrud leaves Joola

Federico Staksrud ends Joola contract

After two and a half years, Fed is moving on from Joola. Word is, Joola wanted to renew but another sporting goods company lured Fed with a juicier contract.

Though it hasn’t officially been announced, there’s a strong rumor (and accidentally slipped during a post-game interview) that he’s headed to adidas.

It appears adidas is stepping up its game in pickleball; in 2024 they were a Gold Paddle sponsor of the PPA tour. Fed joins Rafa Hewett and newly signed Mari Humberg on its roster of pro players.
